This painting was created intuitively, starting with an alcohol ink layer. I then added layers of acrylic inks in blues, followed by adding grey and blue details. The last layer is a crackle paste, that gives it some lovely organic details. The end result is a painting that is both playful and serene. It gives of a lovely, calming vibe.
I enjoy working in this intuitive way, allowing the paints to guide me, rather than the other way around. It allows me to work in an an almost meditative state, which usually results in ethereal paintings with a serene feel.
I hope this feeling translates and gives people a smile.
