This painting is an abstract representation of the ocean. I take my memories of such a scene, deconstruct the components, and rearrange them all back on the paper. Rocks, light reflecting of the waves, green cliffs, big red rocks. The salty ocean breeze. Climbing the big rocks. All the elements of a beautiful beach scene are there. In a way it is the retelling of a story.
