The inspiration of this abstract landscape painting comes from our travels to the Australian desert. The gorgeous, warm reds and, ochres and against the great open sky is just breath taking. It is no wonder the large, stony outcrops are sacred to the Indigenous people. They are really a spectacular sight.
Materials:
This piece was painted using texture paste as a base to create the luscious texture. I used acrylic paint to add the earthy colors. The gallery wrapped canvas comes to hang.
