This painting was created intuitively, starting with an alcohol ink layer as a base. Layers of acrylic inks in turquoise and blue were added, followed by some lovely grey and blue details. The last layer was done with a lovely silver ink, that gives some lovely shine, like a mirror. The end result is a painting that is ethereal and playful. It creates a lovely, calming atmosphere.
I enjoy working in this intuitive way, allowing the paints to guide me, rather than the other way around. It allows me to work in an an almost meditative state, which usually results in ethereal paintings with a serene feel.
